Fabio holds a BA in economics from the University of Ca’ Foscari, Venice, and MBA from Columbia NY.

Fabio was a banker from 1983 to 2000. He ran Corporate Finance for Spain and Portugal for Citi and then moved on to head Securitization Europe also at Citi.

In 2000 he co-founded Harbourmaster Capital, a credit fund which grew to $12bn in assets under management and was sold to Blackstone in 2012.  Since then, Fabio is an investor in start-ups in Europe and North America, with a primary focus on Fintech.
